One of the joys of a stay in Skipton is discovering fantastic local food, and for many, Keelham Farm Shop was an unmissable stop. So, when it closed, there was a collective sigh of disappointment. But guess what? It’s back – sort of – and better than ever! Keelham has been reborn as Robertshaws, and it still delivers everything we loved: top-quality local produce, fantastic food, and a warm Yorkshire welcome.
A Farm Shop Worth the Short Trip
If you’re staying at Thisledo Holiday Cottage, you’re already perfectly placed for foodie adventures. Robertshaws is just a short drive from Thisledo, making it an easy (and utterly worthwhile) excursion. Whether you need supplies for a home-cooked meal, a picnic for a day out in the Dales, or just a good excuse for a browse and a bite to eat, it’s the perfect stop.
What to Expect at Robertshaws
Everything you loved about Keelham is still here – but with a fresh start under the Robertshaw family name. The farm shop is packed with locally sourced meat, fresh fruit and veg, artisan cheeses, and a selection of irresistible treats (it would be rude not to take home a cake… or two).
The on-site deli and café serve up hearty Yorkshire breakfasts, homemade pies, and mouth-watering cakes that will have you debating whether you should stay for just one more cup of tea.
And if you’re in the market for locally brewed beer, fresh bakery goods, or a beautiful cut of meat for a special dinner back at the cottage, you’ll find plenty to tempt you.
