The Best Seat in Skipton? Right Outside Thisledo on Gala Day!

Within minutes, Gargrave Road transforms into a colourful parade of floats, marching bands, community groups, vintage vehicles, dancers, performers and enough sweets being thrown into the crowd to keep local dentists busy for months.

One moment you’re carrying a cup of Yorkshire tea. The next you’re waving at a pirate ship, applauding a brass band and wondering how a tractor managed to acquire so many balloons.
