If you like the history of the Leeds Liverpool canal and love boats, then you need to visit the Skipton Waterway Festival during your time in Skipton.
Last year it attracted hundreds of boaters & it was estimated that around 10,000 visitors came to enjoy the stalls and the varied family entertainment which took place on the canal side during the day.
